Carved Earth Terracotta Lamp

Hand-thrown in central Turkey, this terracotta vessel was used for storing dry goods. The surface is marked with etched lines running around the upper body — simple, hand-carved detailing cut directly into the clay — sitting alongside darker firing marks and wear from use.

Now converted in the UK into a table lamp, it has a steady, grounded feel — the carved detail giving it just enough edge without overworking it.
