This antique terracotta vessel originates from southern Anatolia, where it was once used to store olive oil. Hand-thrown from dense clay and fired in open kilns, it has a tall, tapering body and fine, rounded neck that give it a quiet symmetry. The surface shifts from deep clay red to pale stone at the base — a natural result of uneven firing and years of use.
Now converted in the UK into a table lamp, it carries a sculptural simplicity that feels timeless and grounded.
