Hand-thrown in Anatolia, Turkey — a region known for its terracotta and olive-growing heritage — this antique vessel was originally used for storing grains. Its surface has developed a deep, sun-baked patina, shifting through tones of ember, ochre, and soft charcoal. The texture is rough and mineral-rich, showing the marks of age and weather that give Anatolian clay its distinctive, timeless character.

With its tall, rounded shape and earthy colour, it brings an easy warmth to English countryside homes, cottages, and rustic farmhouse interiors. The natural tones pair beautifully with limewashed walls, old wood, and antique flowers. Leave it bare to show its sculptural form, or style with tall dried stems for a classic Mediterranean feel.
