Hand-thrown in western Turkey’s Aegean region, this terracotta vessel was originally used for storing olive oil during the harvest season. Its broad shoulder, short neck and twin handles reflect a practical working form, with natural variation across the surface from firing, handling and time.
Now converted in the UK into a table lamp, its weight and proportion give it a steady, grounded presence that sits comfortably on consoles, sideboards or larger bedside tables.
