Hand-thrown in western Turkey, this terracotta vessel was used to store olive oil and household provisions; the glazed upper section sealed the contents at the neck, while the taller body allowed for generous storage with a steady, grounded base.

Now converted in the UK into a table lamp, the olive glaze catches the light against the raw clay, giving it just enough contrast while still feeling warm and collected.
