From Cappadocia, central Turkey, this antique terracotta pot was made using traditional pit-firing — a technique that gives the clay its rich gradation of colour. The surface moves from soft chestnut through to deep charcoal, with natural firing marks and mineral traces that tell of its long use and timeless Mediterranean patina.

The shape is bold yet refined — broad through the shoulders with a narrow neck that gives it balance and quiet strength. It brings natural texture and depth to English countryside homes, cottages, and rustic farmhouse interiors, where its earthy tones sit beautifully against linen, stone, and aged wood.

Perfect left unfilled or styled with tall flowers or branches.
