Hand-thrown in Anatolia, Turkey, this terracotta vessel has a rounded, full-bodied shape and a naturally smoke-fired finish. The surface shows soft variation from the kiln, along with light marks and texture that come from its making and use.
Now converted in the UK into a table lamp, it has a solid, weighty feel that works well on larger pedestal tables, consoles, or sideboards. The shape does most of the work here — simple, balanced, and easy to place.
