Hand-thrown in central Turkey, this terracotta vessel was used for storing water and dry goods. Its wide, rounded body and more defined, tapering base give it a strong, anchored shape, with visible throwing lines and light surface wear that come from its making and use.
Now converted in the UK into a table lamp, it sits low and stable, with a broader footprint that works particularly well on consoles, sideboards or wider pedestal tables.
